• System Protection: The filter prevents limescale and mineral deposits from damaging the internal boiler, chiller, and carbonation unit. Operating without one risks permanent damage and voids your warranty.

• Operational Requirement: The unit continuously monitors filter presence. Removing the filter causes the system to display an error and locks the dispensing of chilled, sparkling, and boiling water.

• Standard Tap Water Exception: Standard, unfiltered hot and cold utility water via the main lever will still function, as it bypasses the internal treatment unit.

The Choice Icona tap interface provides visual indicator lights to notify you when the filter capacity is low or when the cylinder is empty.

It is recommended to clean the internal system every 6 months or whenever the system prompts you (the "Clean" indicator on the display or app flashes).

It should also be cleaned if the unit has been left unused for more than 3 weeks.
