General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 - Definitions

1.1 In these general terms and conditions, the following terms shall have the following meaning, unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• Agreement: the contract between Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited and the Consumer made as described in Article 3;

• Cancellation Period: the period set out in Article 4 within which the Consumer can cancel an Agreement;

• Cylinders: the CO₂ cylinders available for purchase from the Webshop either as part of the Choice All Drink System or purchased standalone/refill to supplement a system already owned;

• Consumer: the natural person (not acting mainly or wholly in the course of a profession, business or trade) that purchases Products via the Webshop;

• Hong Kong: the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC;

• Order: the order placed by the Consumer via the Webshop for Products and/or installation services;

• PRC: the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, the Macao Special Administrative Region (“Macao”), and Taiwan);

• Products: any product or products available for purchase via the Webshop from time to time, including all taps,Choice All Drink Systems, Starter Kits, Cylinders, water filters, and cartridges;

• Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited: the company registered in Hong Kong (Company No. 2567698), having its registered office at 15/F, Excelsior Building, 68 Sha Tsui Road, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong;

• Website: the website of Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited and all associated subdomains; and

• Webshop: the online store of Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited, accessible via the Website.

Article 2 - Applicability

2.1 These general terms and conditions, together with Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited’s Privacy Policy Statement shown on the Website, apply to every Order and Agreement for the purchase of Products and installation services supplied through the Webshop. 

2.2 Our Website is solely for the promotion and sale of Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited’s Products and services in Hong Kong. 

2.3 Each article of these terms is separate; if any court or authority decides that any article is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining articles will stay in full force and effect. 

2.4 Orders can only be placed via the Webshop by Consumers who are aged 18 or older.

Article 3 - Making an Agreement

3.1 After the Consumer has placed an Order and successfully completed payment, the Consumer shall immediately receive an electronic confirmation of receipt from Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited. 

3.2 An Agreement is made and binding on Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited and the Consumer when Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited emails the Consumer with an Order Confirmation. If Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited is unable to accept the Consumer’s Order, it will inform the Consumer and issue a full refund if payment was taken.

Article 4 - Delivery

4.1 Delivery costs will be clearly displayed on the Webshop during checkout. 

4.2 Delivery times stated on the Website or Order confirmation are indicative. Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited will make reasonable efforts to deliver within thirty (30) days of confirmation. 

4.3 Delivery shall be made to the address specified by the Consumer at checkout.

Article 5 - Installation & Third-Party Installation

5.1 Where the Consumer purchases taps, Choice All Drink Systems, or full-system hardware fittings requiring installation, the Consumer may choose to either:

• 9.1.1 Managed Installation: Request Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited to carry out the installation for the fee stated on the Webshop by adding installation to their Order; or

• 9.1.2 Third-Party Installation: Arrange for a qualified third party engaged by the Consumer to carry out the required installation at the Consumer’s sole cost and risk. 

5.2 Where installation is carried out by Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited under Article 9.1.1, Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited shall use reasonable care and skill. 

5.3 Where the Consumer arranges for a third party to carry out the installation, Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited shall have no liability for any damage caused to the Products, property, or for any failure of the Products to function correctly due to work performed by the third party.

5.4 Pre-Existing Site Conditions & Structural Fragility: Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited shall not be held liable or responsible for any damages, water leaks, or failures that occur during or after installation if such damage arises from the age, wear and tear, corrosion, or sub-standard condition of the Consumer's pre-existing pipes, shut-off valves, drainage, cabinetry, or taps. The Consumer is responsible for ensuring that their existing plumbing network is structurally sound and capable of handling a modern pressurized water system before our technicians begin work.

Article 6 - Ownership of Products

6.1 Except in relation to ownership of CO₂ Cylinders under Article 11, the Consumer will own all other Products (including taps, tanks, and hardware fittings) from the date full payment is received.

Article 7 - Ownership of Cylinders

7.1 Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited remains the owner of all CO₂ Cylinders at all times, including following delivery. The Consumer does not become the owner of the Cylinders. 

7.2 The Consumer is not permitted to sell, transfer, or dispose of Cylinders to third parties or allow third parties to refill them. 

7.3 The Consumer shall only become the owner of a Cylinder if an unreturned cylinder fee has been charged and paid in full under Article 12.5.

Article 8 - Stock Limits and Return of Cylinders

8.1 The Consumer may hold a maximum of eight (8) Cylinders in stock per user account/billing address. Orders exceeding this limit will not be fulfilled until used Cylinders are returned. 

8.2 Empty Cylinders can be returned in batches of two (2) using provided return labels or returned directly to Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited. 

8.3 The Consumer must return empty Cylinders within sixty (60) days of receiving a return label or replacement order dispatch. 

8.4 If Cylinders are not returned within sixty (60) days, or are returned severely damaged or unusable, an amount of HKD 450 per cylinder will be charged to the Consumer's payment card/account.

Article 9 - Payment

9.1 Prices shown in the Webshop are in HKD. Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited reserves the right to adjust prices for future Orders from time to time. 

9.2 Payment must be made using the permitted payment methods indicated on the Webshop on or before dispatch/installation. 

9.3 Overdue amounts may accrue interest at 3% per annum above the base lending rate of Hang Seng Bank’s Interbank Offered Rates (HIBOR).

Article 10 - Quality and Guarantee

10.1 Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited guarantees that supplied taps, Choice All Drink Systems, hardware fittings, and accessories conform to applicable legal standards and are fit for purpose. 

10.2 For CO₂ Cylinders and consumable water filters, guarantees are limited to the best-before date or replacement schedule stated on the packaging. 

10.3 Excluded from guarantee are defects caused by misuse, insufficient maintenance, negligence, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, or failure to comply with installation/operating instructions (including incorrect third-party installation under Article 9.1.2).

Article 11 - Liability

11.1 Products must be used in accordance with official Choice All Drink System operating guidelines. 

11.2 The Consumer must inspect delivered goods within fourteen (14) days of receipt for visible damage prior to use or third-party installation. 

11.3 Products and installation services are supplied for domestic and private use. Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited accepts no liability for commercial, business, or resale purposes.

Article 12 - Circumstances Outside Control (Force Majeure)

Great Treasure (Building Supplies) Limited is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations resulting from events outside its reasonable control, including extreme weather/typhoons, severe traffic congestion, strikes, water damage, or emergency government regulations.

Article 13 - Complaints and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Complaints regarding Orders, Products, or installation services should be submitted in writing to:

13.2 Complaints will be answered within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Unresolved consumer complaints may be referred to the Consumer Council of Hong Kong.

Article 14 - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 All Orders, purchases, hardware fittings, and installation agreements are governed by the Laws of Hong Kong. 

14.2 Any legal disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Hong Kong.
